A reverse sting operation is just a play on words, all sting operations are just that, sting operations.

Sting operations are corrupt and done by police that are known to lie and to deceive people and are known to recruit civilians into sting operations in order to frame/entrap people on video surveillance cameras!

A typical sting operation most people know about are prostitution stings where several cops take over a motel with the owner/managers blessings and they dress up female officer's and or civilian operatives as prostitutes and they PERFORM for video surveillance cameras while they engage men in conversations FOR the video surveillance cameras.

That's what most people are familiar with, what most people are NOT familiar with is sting operations have a tendency to use doubles that dress up like their intended target and stage crimes for video surveillance cameras and or for photogenic photo's.

The things all sting operations have in common is that police dress up, they play act as or literally break the law committing crimes, and they do it while lying to and deceiving people.

Police and Hollywood movies glamorize sting operations but only give the public tidbits of information about sting operations because police do not want people knowing how bad their police really are.

Prostitution stings and drub bust stings seems to be the most common types of sting operations that police and Hollywood show to the world, but police do many kinds of sting operations.

If police have a certain target in mind then they will have an officer dress up like their target and stage crimes near their targets home/neighborhood in order to build a case against their target.

Police do the same thing at banks they stage bank robbery's dressed like their target and they ALWAYS use fuzzy video surveillance in order to give blame to their target EVEN THOUGH it is already known banks have way way better cameras than that.

Remember sting operations are about police themselves doing crimes and they try to hook other people into those crimes to frame/entrap them, so yes police DO BREAK THE LAW in sting operations.

The next time you hear about a prostitution sting or a drug bust sting just ask yourself the question "Are those female sting officer's dressing up like someone they are targeting while they fake being prostitutes?"

"Are those males faking selling drugs for video surveillance dressing up like someone they are targeting?" and the reason I point that out is because many sting operations do indeed impersonate their targets for the purpose of making their target look like a bad guy and to build a case against their target.

I am quite sure some pissed off cop will replace my valid information on here and label what I say as "Rants" and that's typical of how corrupt police cover up their crimes, by ignoring people that complain and by diminishing what they say as "Rants" in order to better conceal their secrets from the public.

The mere fact that people have to ask what sting operations are demonstrate in and of itself that police and news media tries to hide what they are all about.
