Yes horseback riding is very fun! Well that is my opinion. I ride English, there are several different types of riding. You can look for lessons at your local stables. It includes hard disciplines and you may fall a lot, which hurts sometimes, but you have to be tough and you'll have a great time! I agree! Horseback riding is sooooo much fun! I also ride English. I have been bucked off a couple times and I know people who have broken arms and legs. You just need to get back up and try again. I compete in shows and love it! Soon I hope to get my own horse! I also agree, I ride English, ridden for 6 years. It a lot of fun and good exercize. But yeah be prepared to fall off a couple times.
Yes it is very possible! In fact, I am an English rider myself and that is how I started. It is highly recommended by experts. But, if you're more interested in riding for fun, go western. If you are interested in shows/cross country/ dressage then go English. The only riding difference is that you have a different posture in the styles. In English, you hold the reins with two hands. In western, just one.
Not in Hunter shows.
You should attend rodeos and bull riding shows to become a bull rider. At shows and rodeos you can ask the professionals how they got into the business and maybe they can give you details on joining as well.
Reverse is the term used in shows.
it depends... are you good? i know that sounds stupid, but a lot of people think they're great and they're really not. Start out riding at shows, just local ones. Then go up in the levels slowly. There's talent scouts at the higher level shows. Don't attack anyone... just wait to see if anyone approaches you. Then you may end up with a sponsor.. or just wait a few years when you're riding in the Senior Advanced classes and work your way up. It really depends on who's watching at what time. just make sure you don't suck. if you haven't been riding for at least >5 years, don't even try. good luck, bub
