What is one recovery method and one disposal method for materials entering the wastestream?

One recovery method for materials entering the wastestream is recycling, which involves collecting and processing materials like paper, glass, and metals to create new products. A common disposal method is landfilling, where waste is buried in designated areas, although this can lead to environmental issues such as soil and water contamination.
