Valentina was affectionately nicknamed Bannatiran by the poet. Another story is about a Legendary/Mythical Beauty of the town of "Banna, Ilocos Norte" as to where the poet compared her to a very Precious, Excellent and Superior Bird and called her "Bannatiran"
