Magratory Patterns are the paths followed, usually on an annual basis, by creatures.
These paths do not vary, and are followed by most members of a species.
The reason for these paths can be to reach a warmer climate during Winter, or for the search for food, or for a breeding/birth location.
Good examples are flocks of birds heading South for Winter, or whales in search of their breeding grounds.
There is a migratory path on a Galapigos Island that is SO instilled into the Giant Tortoise's mind, that even when it was over-run by a huge lava flow, that solidified into an expanse of hardened rock, the tortoises still attempted to follow their migratory path through it. This sadly leads to their death, leaving tortoise skeletons strewn over the lava flow. This shows how strong the instinct to follow a migratory path can be.
migrate!
This is known as migration, where animals move between different locations in response to environmental changes such as seasonal variations or availability of resources. Migration helps animals find food, breeding grounds, or suitable habitat based on changing conditions. It is a common phenomenon observed in various species around the world.
The Arctic tern is known to make the longest migration of any animal. It travels about 44,000 miles (71,000 km) from its breeding grounds in the Arctic to its wintering grounds in the Antarctic and back each year, following a zigzag pattern around the globe.

The doctor probably meant "migrainous" problem (as there is no 'migration' problem in the medical lexicon). Find out if he diagnosed you with migraine headaches (or some other type).
Step migration is a migration pattern that consists of a series of small, less extreme locational changes. For example, if a person moves from a farm to a small town, then to a larger town and finally a city, it is an example of step migration.
