Chickens are very adaptable to most environments. They came from the jungles of Asia and are now everywhere in the world. They can live in semi arid areas and swamp land. Mountains and tundra. As long as there is food and shelter the chicken will adapt.

A chicken will do fine in temperatures from 80F+ to below zero. They are raised in Tropical Zones and Arctic Areas like Alaska and Iqaluit.
