you have to be very gentle, I use the premoistened wipes that they sell at the local pet store and flip her ears in order to clean them but that also bothers her. Her long ears are cleaned with her regular shampoo and water.

∙ 9y agoThe best way to clean your Bassett Hound's ears is to use an ear cleaning solution and cotton balls. You'll want to clean the outer ear and the inner ear but make sure you don't push the cotton ball too far in.
