I gather you mean the difference between Goats and Sheep? The easiest way for a non experienced person, is that the goat has a split in the middle of its top lip, that goes up to it's nose. A sheep has a 'normal' top lip. Both can have or not have horns and both can have breeds that don't need shearing, Goats are better at jumping and escaping and are more extroverted with humans and both fret if alone. Goats eat more roughage and leaves from bushes and trees, tho' sheep eat them, too, the goat is happier with more foliage in diet, than the sheep.

A ram is a sheep, and a goat is a goat.

The biggest difference is the horns. Ram horns are much bigger and wrap around their head. They also breed with sheep (one to a herd).
