Physical property of an object is any property which can be measured and describes the physical state of matter.

On the other hand, physical change, is a change which does not involve any chemical reaction. Example - change in state of matter.

Physical properties can be noticed through our 5 senses. For example, texture (one of the physical properties) can be felt with the sense of touch and feel. A physical change, however, is a change that affects one (or more) physical properties of a substance.

Changes that pertain to changes you can see, such as color and shape. A chemical change would be one that changes the chemical make-up of the substance.

What is the difference between property and change?

A property is an aspect of a sustenance, such as its color, density, (physical properties) and what it will and won't react with (chemical properties). A change is just what it sounds like, something changing. Examples include ice melting, or glass shattering (physical changes) or oxygen reacting with hydrogen to form water (a chemical change).

What is an example of a physical change in baking?

both, because the ingredients are undergoing both physical and chemical changes such as: Butter melting= physical change Egg whites hardening= chemical change both, because the ingredients are undergoing both physical and chemical changes such as: Butter melting= physical change Egg whites hardening= chemical change

What is the meaning of physical adaptation?

A "Physical Adaptation" is when the body of the animal changes in response to a change in its environment or is circumstances within its environment - a new competitor for food or and new food source or a new predator. This is obviously different from a "Behavioral Adaptation" were the animal changes the way it dose things because of changes mentioned above. Physical adaptation usually come with associated behavioural adaptations, but behavioural adaptations can develop in isolation. Two animals of the same species can look identical but exhibit different behaviours because they live in slightly different environments.

What is a recurring pattern of movement between two or more locations in response to environmental rhythms or seasonal changes?

Migration is a recurring pattern of movement between two or more locations. This occurs in response to environmental rhythms or seasonal changes.

Bacteria adapt more quickly than elephants to environmental changes which best explains the difference?

bacteria reproduce quicker then elephants.

How can you tell the difference between physical and chemical properties?

You can tell the difference by knowing that a physical property changes shape and that a chemical property changes the substance.

What is the difference between a chemical change and physical change?

A physical change changes the physical properties of an element like color where chemical changes change the chemical properties of an element and usually can't be undone.

Difference between chemical and physical change?

A chemical change is when the chemical properties of a substance changes and a physical change is when the chemical properties stay the same but the physical properties (shape, temperature etc...)

What is the difference between ammonium nitrate and ammonium sulfate?

One contains sulfate ions and the other contains nitrate ions. This changes many of the physical and chemical properties of the compounds.

what is the difference between chemical change and physical changes?

the difference between a physical change and a chemical change is that a physical change is usually reversible whilst a chemical change is not reversible.

What are property changes?

the properties that change are physical and chemical properties!!! :)

What is the diffence between physical and chemical properties as well an physical and chemical changes?

Physical properties can be observed without changing the chemical composition of a substance. Chemical properties can only be observed by changing the chemical composition of the substance. In a physical change, the chemical composition of the substance does not change. In a chemical change, the chemical composition of the substance changes.

Changes in properties of matter are called?

physical or chemical changes

Physical change of a green plant?
