"Plant" is at the Kingdom level. "NoClue" would have known that if he'd thought for a minute. Most American textbooks recognize 6 Kingdoms; British, Latin American, and Australian books recognize 5. Our 6 are Animalia (animals), Plantae (plants), Fungi (mushrooms and such), and three microscopic ones, Protista (amoebas for example), Archaea (single-celled but with no cell nucleus, first found in extreme environments such as hot springs or salt lakes), and Bacteria (germs). You will find out way more than you ever wanted to know about this stuff online if you put in "taxonomy kingdoms" and then just start looking up every term you don't already know.
