Anywhere from 100- 250 depending on the species ! Take an average Boa constrictor... newly-hatched specimens may shed every six weeks - that's eight times in its first year alone. They live an average of 40 years - so you can 'guestimate' around 200 sheds over its lifetime.
Snakes typically shed their skin only under one of two conditions. Either (A) the snake is still growing and has outgrown its old skin, or (B) the snake is mature and sheds its skin to replace its old, worn scales with newer, healthier scales. As far as I know, there is no snake that will shed it's skin more than once every few weeks (8-10 times a year, perhaps). However, it may take the snake a few days to fully shed, giving the impression that it is shedding multiple times a day. If you are actually seeing a snake shed more frequently, and it is leaving behind whole old skins, ask a veterinarian, because I have no answer to that.
Assuming you meant life-span - it depends on the species. Anywhere from 10 years to over 40.
