The Purple Martin species is now coming back ashore of North America to take their annual residence for which will be their breeding grounds. They will live in the states throughout the summer and as soon as the young martins have fledged (able to fly), they all will take off to South America in which they shall endure many a mile. By avoiding the bitter cold of North America, the birds are able to find plentiful food where the overwinter.
Salmon are migratory fish, as are Eels.
Raccoons do not migrate. They stay mostly in their home range.
