In the 1975 film "Rooster Cogburn," the character of the judge, Judge Parker, is portrayed by actor John McIntire. The film features Rooster Cogburn, played by John Wayne, as a tough U.S. Marshal who teams up with a young woman to bring justice to the lawless West. The story is a sequel to the earlier film "True Grit," which also featured the character Rooster Cogburn.
