There is no "oldest non-living thing" unless you consider a virus to be non-living, and their evolution cannot be reliably determined.
The oldest living things are animals such as tortoises, lobsters, clams and mussels. Colonies of organisms such as funguses, sponges, coral, and aspen trees live a long time because they create or clone new individuals.
