Cows don't need parental care; they're already old enough to look after themselves. Unless, that is, you are referring to CALVES. Calves need milk every few hours, shelter, a warm dry bed to sleep in, and a bit of room for them to play around in. They also appreciate having a couple other friends to play with. Calves should be kept an eye on in case they come down with pneumonia or scours, and should be treated immediately if they show signs of sickness. Like human children, calves are quite fragile when it comes to their immune systems being put to the test, and they can get quite sick if not attended to.
