A place where pigs are raised is called sty or pigsty.
Usually on farms and some live in the wild but those are considered wild boars, not pigs.
A pig's environment is usually a place that has a good habitat. a habitat is the area where an animal can get everything it needs to survive and so the pig would have to be able to survive there.
Needs and Wants:
Pigs are omnivores. They like to eat plants or animals, although they pretty much eat anything. The things that fit in the anything category include dead insects, worms, tree bark, rotting carcasses, garbage, and even other pigs-so they do eat almost everything. They only eat other pigs if they are starving, though. They eat those things if they live on a farm or domestic in any way. Wild pigs, however, eat things like animals, primarily eating leaves, grasses, roots, fruits and flowers. If pigs are in captivity, they will eat their piglets out of stress. In the zoo, we will have 2 different kinds of pigs-domestic pigs and wild pigs. Also, because pigs don't have sweat glands, they will need something to cool off. They prefer water or cool mud. Certain pigs do prefer one over the other. They also need a lot of space so they can roam around and be themselves. Also, pigs will need some friends. One pig cannot be in an exhibit room by itself. Pigs are very social and make friends very easily.
the pig is like all other living animals. it needs water, food, shelter. pigs can not be dumped in mud, it needs a friendly biome.
On a farm, pigs are usually kept in a large enclosure. The enclosure will likely include a mud pit, trough, plenty of fresh water, and a sheltered, indoor area for the pigs to sleep in.
Domesticated pigs will live in barns with a way to go outside to display natural habits. Wild pigs will live in grasslands and swampy areas depending on the breed characteristics.
