Well this is a general question. there are many specious of Arowanas.
Common ones for example Silver Arowanas are relatively cheaper say about US$ 20 to US$ 30 per fish about 4 inches in size.
More exotic ones like Golden or Red Arowanas range from US$ 1000 to U$ S2000 per fish of about 4 inches. Prices for Matured ones range from US$ 3000 to US$10,000 of even much more depending on the quality vis color, shape, behaviour,etc..!!
If a buyer is very specialized in his/hers needs, the price goes up further. Sometimesthe price is seasonaly as the breeding time is also seasonal!
Their life span is around 20 years, depending on which species.

Take your first magic fish and put it into the sell tank. Take 3 other fish too, and put them in the sell tank. Change the price of the magic fish to 250$ then change all the other fishes price to 9999 . . . so on. There will be frown faces and exclamationpoint's but after 3 minutes someone will buy the magic fish. You must also have the Pagoda Ornament in your sell tank.

cath an arowana fish
Feeding an arowana depends upon it's size, if the fish is 3-5inches try feeding it with small live feeding fishes ensure good health of the live feed. Then start with recommended arowana pellets if asian arowana. After the fish gains a good size feed it with shrimps, live feed, Arowana pellets as how does the fish gets used to the above feeds. its better to avoid the live fish feed for a longer time as it may cause infection to your arowana & majorly the arowana may suffer from dropeyes(refer internet for the precautions). Temperature plays a vital role in good arowana keeping. Ensure a huge tank size for keeping it with a good aquarium top as these fishes are high jumpers & require a good size aquarium ( min 4ft- 8ft avrg size).
