a ferry diddle is not a flying squirrel, but close, I raise squirrels, it looks like a chipmunk, similar in size but has a dark brown to black stripe down its side, I have 7 right now as pets. Ferry Diddle also know as Eastern Red Pine Squirrel

im not sure about a monkey that actually looks like a squirrel but a squirrel monkey is about the same size as a squirrel and it is classified as a monkey hope this helps
