Prehistoric raptors (dinosaurs) were carnivorous, as judged by the sharp fangs and claws of their skeletons. They most likely killed and ate other dinosaurs.

Raptors (the birds) often prey on small mammals such as rabbits, fish, or even other birds.

How do raptors eat?

Now there is a good Question. But first we need to know what you mean by raptors. Raptors is sometimes an abbreviation for VELOCIRAPTORS, which are extinct. So they don't eat at all. Believe it or not, there is a huge movement on the internet of people who think they still exist or will rise from the dead or something. ( I really only know about this because we have a couple of funny articles about those over at the wikiHowl site. ) But the other kind of raptor, the bird of prey, is not extinct, and therefore DOES eat. There is a shortish article about those over at wikipedia, but it does not currently tell us how they eat, or what they eat, though it does tell us what they USE to eat. And that would be their talons and beaks which are very strong and which can rip the flesh of small animals. Which do you mean? Please clarify and maybe you will get some more answers. ---wikihowl
