Rabbits are generally considered by those who look after them to be intelligent and social creatures.
Most rabbits are able to understand the "should and should nots" of family living. They can learn some limited commands such as No and understand when they are praised, but are cat like in choosing to obey or not. Rabbits communicate mainly with gesture and other body language.
rabbit's are very smart. My rabbit know's it's name,it can climb up and down the stair's,he know's how to open my door (he scratches it and bite's it until it open's) and know's what bounce means. there are 4 smart thing's that a Dutch rabbit can do.
no they are not, in my experience. we had 3 different rabbits [two at a time[ over 10 years, in a small apartment. they can be very sweet and affectionate, but clever they are not. our male used to climb up on my wife's shoulders when she kneeled down by the female's cage. even if the female was out of the cage roaming the floor, he ignored her and sat on my wife's shoulder, look for his 'girlfriend' in her cage.
One of the smartest kinds of rabbits ( from personal experience) is the lionhead. They are pretty small and they are adorable! They are easily trained to use a litter box and they are escape artist, so beware. They are also very sweet. My lionhead bun licks me a ton!
no. we have much larger brains than them.
Bunnies are smart in their own way. They know how to stay warm on a cold winter night, they know how to find food that they didn't have to work for, they know how to hide from animals that want to eat them.
People are smart for people things and bunnies are smart for bunny things.
Well most rabbits are more clever than they act you probably see them being lazy and sleeping but they are really thinking extremely clever thoughts (escape plans)
Ofcourse! I have one {He rules.} and if you people think they are dumb, your wrong.
