What does the shell look like? My turtle also has yellow scales on his legs, and his shell is rounded green with 13 large plates, and multiple small plates, if I'm correct, I believe it's an American Box turtle Edit: It is a breed of American box turtle, but I found out from a book I read that it is a 3 toed box turtle.. ( they have 5 toes on the front i believe, but 3 in the back )
