As of today, July 20, 2010 when this reply is being written, the current ocean water temps along the Jersey Shore are hovering around 80 degrees (F). It should be noted, that ocean water temps along the eastern seaboard, and along the gulf coast are the warmest on record, or close to it. What the normal temp is for July, I do not know. Lower than 80!
