The most sensitive part of a horses foot is called the "frog". This forms a V like shape which is found in the centre of the sole. The frog is a flexible, spongy pad which is also a weight-bearing surface. It is the middle organ between the plantar cushion and the origin of pressure from the horses foot (feet). The frog is distinguished from the sole of the foot by two lines called commissures. The most sensitive part of a horses foot is called the "frog". Most people would say it's the navicular bone. However, the traditional theory that P3 is solely responsible for transferring weight from P2 to the hoof wall is incomplete. There must be one or more additional mechanisms to adequately account for weightbearing at the heels of the hoof. The navicular bone appears to be unable to support much weight through its threadlike ligament attachments to the collateral cartilages.
The digital cushion, acting as a hammock, might be able to bear some weight, however the navicular bone does not show the substance one would expect of a bone which bears weight. The navicular suspensory ligaments (now called the collateral ligament of the navicular bone), part of which attach to the collateral cartilages, might also be able to support some of the bodyweight. The chondrocoronal ligaments appear to be in a position, and strong enough, to transfer the bodyweight through the collateral cartilages, to the heels of the hoof. The chondrocoronal ligaments could well explain known phenomena of both normal and abnormal hoof weightbearing that the traditional theory cannot explain. Further research will be necessary to prove this hypothesis.
The most sensitive part of the horse's hoof is the frog, the frog is located at the bottom of the horse's hoof
the triangular shaped part on the middle underside of a horses hoof
people say that hey is for horses because hey is a major part of the horses diet. When you say "hey" it can mean both hello and dried up grass for the horses stomach. (horses eat hey)
No, a horse should not eat peppers. Peppers are part of the nightshade family and can be considered toxic to horses.
A horses foot is called the Hoof. The Hoof is the hard part on the bottom of the horses leg. Horses hooves are like our fingernails, actually they are made out of the same thing.
Horses do have frogs,a frog is located on the bottom of the hoof. If you look closely when you pick the hoof you will see a part of the hoof that looks like a frog's foot. Yup, but it is very delicate and important to the horse, so be very careful when you use the hoof pick, you don't want to stab the soft tissue.

This is the hoof wall. This is the hardest part of the hoof and it supports the horses weight.
The tibia supports the upper part of the leg. It bears most of the weight.
Neither. Hooves are the part of a horse's foot that are somewhat similar to a human's fingernails. You would say- that is my horse's hoof or my horse has never had a porblem with his hooves. it is never hooves horses.
there is the hoof and in the middle is a soft part called a frog that you CAN'T pick witha hoof pick!
