Pet rabbits should primarily eat hay, such as timothy hay, as it helps maintain their digestive health. They should also have access to fresh vegetables like leafy greens and carrots, along with a small amount of rabbit pellets. Additionally, fresh water should be available at all times for them to stay hydrated.
