get some ripped up toilet paper and wind it tightly around the wounds. he/she will squirm some but be gentle yet firm mice are fragile. once the bandages are on you need to find out if it is a boy or a girl. gently lift the tail slightly so you can see it's underside. if it's a boy then it will have a penis and a little sac behind it and in front of his butt. if its a girl then it will look like a penis covering a hole. if its a girl then you need to rush to the pet store or shelter and purchase another female mouse because females live in groups of two or more or else they die. if its a boy then do not group it with other mice. either way, you need to keep it in a warm place and make sure there is bedding for them to go on and a box for them to hide in. the bedding should not be wood because the fumes can hurt the poor thing. make sure the holes in the cage are less than a centimeter or else he will get out and cause harm to himself. give him a short, wide bowl with some water in it. feed him cooked rice and veggies that don't have much water in it or else it will give him diariah and then dehydrate him which will kill him in a matter of hours. put a wood block in it for him to chew on. check on him every half hour to an hour and change his bandages.
