Any ant you choose. I would prefer Black Ants because they are less aggressive. Although, if you like the adrenaline rush you can get: Harvester ants, slavemaker ants (You need another nest for these because they take larva and make them slaves, It also requires frequent larva to maintain itself, thus, i dont recommend them), army ants, fire ants and many many others. If you want a big nest use all of the adrenaline rush ants lol. I SERIOUSLY RECOMMEND BLACK ANTS DONT GET STUCK WITH THE AVERAGE 1 MILLION FIRE ANTS IN YOUR TINY JAR!
It depends what ant farm you get.
If you get an Antworks Ant Farm its a self contained "NASA designed" habitat for ants, with its own food -as the ants tunnel in the gel, so they eat the gel.
As for normal antfarms I'm not sure - its probably much harder!
The house of ants is called an ant colony or an ant mound. Some people also use the term nest.
Ants actually never sleep. They work all the time when they are in the wild. If they are in an Ant Farm then sometimes they may rest a little bit.
Ants can eat a variety of foods. If keeping ants as pets, one should feed them small pieces of fruit every few days.
They like tiny bits of fruit or vegetables. But make sure they are very small amountsbecause the last thing you want in an ant farm is moldy food. Ants also appreciate a drop of honey, some sugar, or bread dipped in sugar water. For their water supply, add a cotton-ball soaked in water. But mostly ants like sugary stuff.
Leptothorax ants need other ant species during parts of their life cycle. Honeypot ants will enslave members from other honeypot ant colonies. Another type of ant that enslaves other species is the Amazon ant (genus Polyergus).
twice a day:)
if you have a gel ant habit you will not need to give your ants water
Yes there is such thing as an ant farm it is made for family's of ants and for the queen ant to have babys
The ANTs sneak out of Chynas house in ant farm by Tying Chyna's dad to a chair.
Ants usually live in multiple biomes.
1-2 months for the pesky black ant, 6 months for pet ants in an ant farm (if you feed them), 6-7 years for carpenter ants.

Yes , you can have an Ant Farm without the Queen (It is illegal to ship Queen ants between state lines.) but your colony will eventually die out without the ants being replaced by the Queen ant . You could....but you should probably get oe, because the ants need a leader, to know what to do.
