Name a wild animal that you'd be foolish to keep as a pet?

In my opinion, no wild animal should be kept as a pet, excepting zoos. But there are stupid people out there who do.

How to choose a name for a pet?

Getting a pet can be one of the most exciting and life changing things a person could experience. But aside from worrying about their diet or where they will sleep, there is also the matter of choosing a name. How should this be handled? Instead of panicking about the matter, the new owner should take it slow and refer to the below ideas. 1. Should they be reachable, friends and family members should be contacted for advice. Because they will be close to the new pet owner, they will know what the person would be happy with. Once a sizable list has been put together, the owner should check to see if there are any notable themes; for example, names that refer to flowers or start with a certain letter of the alphabet. One should remember, however, that these are meant to act as suggestions; if nothing seems appropriate, they do not have to be used. It is important for the owner to be satisfied before finalizing the decision. 2. The pet owner should also think about the things that they enjoy. Perhaps a certain ice cream flavor fills them with glee, or a character in a TV series has always been their favorite. Some pet owners have opted to name their animals after these things, and thus this should be considered. It could be fun to have people realize what the pet was named after, inviting conversation and the possibility of new friendships. 3. When all else fails, a name for a pet is not permanent. Should the owner go with one name, and then weeks later decide it does not work, it can be changed. A pet can even be given multiple names should there be a need. Nobody should feel pressure; otherwise, something that is supposed to be creative and amusing will quickly turn into a chore. Owning a pet is a wonderful thing; naming the pet should be just as satisfying of an experience. It may not be easy to pick a name, but if a person takes it in stride and find what works for them, the process can be a bit smoother.
