i have a 12 hand pony and he has small feet my suggestion would be a small to extra small depending on the size of your pony's hoofs good luck with finding the right size : D !!! p.s. love Davis brand bell boots they are hard for the horses and pony's to tear up!
Typically a pony will take a small size in front and a medium in back, but it really depends on the brand of boot used.
I would say pony size.
They won't kick you out if your horse is over 14.2 hh. But Pony Club is for young or junior riders, so there is age limits for riders.
pony- 14.1hh and anything under. horse- 14.2hh and anything over.
Horses under 14 hands are ponies. That's it and there is nothing to it a horse/pony measuring exactly 14.2 hands has the option over being a horse or a pony.
The pony's name was Macaroni. Black Jack was the funeral horse which carried the backwards facing boots.
A horse is over 14.3hh and a pony is under 14.2hh [ hh= hand high] [ there measured in hands] [1 hand is about and adults hand]
A horse has to be over 14.3 hands(hh) and a pony is under 14.2hh.( a hand is about the size of a grown persons hand.
A pony is 14.2hh or less; a horse is over 14.2hh. A hand is 4 inches, or 10cm.
A pony shown "in-hand" as in halter showing.
A pony is under 14.2 hands high and on the other hand the horse is 14.2 hands high and over.
Horses and ponies are measured in hands. One hand is equal to 10cm's. Equines are considered horses if they are 14.3hh or above. Ponies are up to 14.2hh.
I would say pony size.
