You can buy a rabbit at a pet shop or a private breeder where you will find on trade it, Friday ad and free ads also many more i would recommend a private breeder as at a pet shop you cant see what you are buying and are normally very big but with a private breeder you can see the parents.

∙ 11y agoDepending on where you live, it's likely there's a few different places you could go to find a rabbit. This question is a bit of a hot topic, so you might want to spend some time thinking about all the issues involved.
Shelters, rescue groups
You can find rabbits at animal shelters and local rescue and foster groups. If you go to Petfinder (link below), you can probably find a rabbit to adopt within 3 hours of home. Please don't buy, as there are so many rabbits at risk of being killed in shelters right now just because there's no room for them. When you adopt from a shelter or rescue, your rabbit will have already seen a vet and may even have already been neutered, so less trouble for you. If you don't know of a rabbit rescue in your area, you can visit the House Rabbit Society website (link below) and find out if they have a chapter near your location - the chapter will be able to tell you where to get a rabbit.
Breeders and rabbit shows
Many people breed rabbits, they aren't hard to find, and you can get a specific breed (instead of a mix). But consider that some breeders are irresponsible and negligent and might sell you a sick or diseased animal.
Pet store
Many pet shops get rabbits from the bunny equivalent of puppy mills, breeding factories that are unpleasant to say the least. Many pet stores are very cruel places, and do not take good care of their animals.
Wherever you go, choose a place that you support, and that you trust to give you honest information about their rabbits. Do some research about how to identify a healthy rabbit.

∙ 14y agopet stores are not a good place to buy rabbits, as they do not have clean and healthy living for them. id say animal shelters and rescue centers. plenty of abandoned rabbits are kept their and the people take good care of them.

∙ 13y agoI wouldn't recommend getting rabbits at a store, they are way over-priced there. I would get them from a neighbor or look on Craigslist.com
I say an amazing offer, an Angora Rabbit for free!
That's a screaming deal.

∙ 14y agoPet stores like Petsmart, Pet Supermarket, Walmart too. You do not need to buy treats either. Most rabbits like some banana or carrot. Maybe some raisins or nuts. Make sure your rabbit is getting a balanced diet though. He or she should be having 80% hay or grass, 10% pellets and 10% treats. Too much or not enough of any of these can cause teeth problems or sickness.

It entirely depends on the store, try contacting your local pet stores, and evaluate their rabbits before buying one.
You can't buy baby rabbits because they won't live; but rabbitry's sell rabbits for pets and shows. Our family does a rabbitry and lots of people buy rabbits for their 4-H kids.
jack rabbits can be very aggressive, so I highly recommend a pet store rabbit or a guinea pig.
12-18% rabbit pellets from a feed store, supplemented by fresh greens
Store it somewhere safe or keep it in it's cage for a while
Pet stores get their rabbits from people who breed their pet rabbits.

You can probably get one at Petco if not look on the internet and see if there are any places that sell them near by you.
I would say that a few safe foods for rabbits and guineapigs to eat would be: * carrots (thin and small, shredded) * lettuce * rabbit food from the store * guineapig food from the store * most other vegetables that are small and thin Hope this helps!
You can't. If you are trying to raise orphan rabbits you can use kitten replacer or goats milk. You can buy canned goats milk in most any store by canned Carnation milk.
first of u can go to any walmart store and buy this special ball that the rabbits eat in order to make their teeth smaller so if they eat this ball their teeth will be normal
