I would suggest keeping an eye on your cat, to see if it is lethargic or grumpier than usual. Or drinking/going to the toilet more often than usual. Generally, keep an eye out for unusual behaviour. If you see none, it is probably okay, and you can just keep it in at night in future. If you do spot a potential problem (or scratches, bites or blood), ring your vet for advice.
1. get your hamster a plastic cage no bar cages or the cat will stick they're paw in there and you get the point.
2. keep a spray bottle next to the cage so if the cat comes near it spray them in the head.
3. keep the cat out of the room at night time.
4. if you want to play with your hamster if the cat is in the room pick it up throw it out the door and close it also close it even if its not in there.
5. to teach the cats how to be nice to the cat try holding the hamster a few feet in front of the cat if the cat charges at the hamster pick it up. that's all i got so bye hope it works.
If the mouse is badly wounded, you should either let the cat finish killing it, or kill it yourself as humanely as possible (squashing its head with your foot is horrible, but provides an instant death).
Next time, don't rescue any mice from your cat unless the mouse hasn't been injured yet. Otherwise, you are just prolonging its suffering.
Well, if u start to see any signs of fighting, u should get a separate cage. I hope I helped!
Keep them in separate cages. That's about all you can do.
remove them so there is only one hamster in a cage
I tend to leave it alone - the cat will kill the mouse eventually, or the mouse will die of hypovolemic shock. Regardless, the situation will resolve itself.
Get a box ready to bury what's left of the hamster.

The cat is the predator and the mouse is the prey.
I am unaware of any "torn cat" cartoon, but there is a cartoon "Tom and Jerry," where Tom is the cat, and Jerry is the mouse. "The Simpsons" contains a cartoon cat and mouse "Itchy and Scratchy" which is based on "Tom and Jerry."
o(^▽^)o to pounce on something it means to jump on it like for example a cat pounced on a mouse the cat jumped on the mouse!
When a mouse runs for cover in the presence of a cat the cat is an example of an external stimulus. Mice have an innate fear of cats, but the cat itself would be an external stimuli.
Well, your cat may just simply hate mice, or it once got attacked by a mouse at some time in its life.
