If you buy a puppy, then it is from a store. Adoption is taking it from a family that can't take care of it or doesn't want it.

If the puppy has done something wrong and you want to convey that try ignoring them, turn your back and cross your arms you would be amazed how upset they get, and immediatly follow you. If you dog doesnt know that the word "no" means bad they wont understand what you want when you say it, and if you say it loud or with energy they will read it as a game, the more you yell the more they will react.
When is it ok to pick up puppies?
It is ok when the mother is fine with you going near them she may be very protective of the puppies and somtimes fine with your doing just about anything. you dont really want to get your smell o the puppies just incase the mother doesnt take them puppy back into the group.

The puppies need their mother's milk. No one wants to feed a liitle puppy with a tiny baby bottle several times a day. People want puppies that can eat puppy food. They want puppies that can walk.
