What to do when you find a lost puppy?

That depends. Where did you last see it? What color is it? What breed is it? Was it sick? Where do you live? Do you live by the ocean? Was your puppy happy with you? Did you take good care of it? Well in my opinion if your home is capable of caring for a puppy for a short period of time or you know someone who can help you out I would recommend taking the puppy in and taking a picture of it and putting up fliers in local businesses and stores to that possibly someone would see them because when people lose a pet a lot of the time they try putting up fliers or putting an ad in the paper to find the puppy and I know an ad would cost money so fliers are inexpensive. Puppies and even dogs for that matter need love and just want to be around people so trying to make the dog comfortable is a good thing to do just make sure before you bring the dog into your home you watch the dog from a distance and introduce yourself slowly so you can see if the dog is alright and that it does have rabies or anything else that could harm a loved one or any of your pets. If you cannot take the puppy into your house I'm sure there are local shelters that would take it in and make sure proper care was given.
