The type of animal that lived only during the Mesozoic Era (Age of Reptiles) were the dinosaurs. They evolved during the late Triassic and the Jurassic periods, and were the largest land creatures during the Cretaceous period of the era.
a may-fly lives only one day so that would be my guess
Either of two nocturnal lizard-like reptiles (Sphenodon punctatus or S. guntheri) that are found only on certain islands off New Zealand and are the only extant members of the Rhynchocephalia, an order that flourished during the Mesozoic Era. Also called sphenodon.
WHAT DO CALL AN ANIMAL THAT LIVES ONLY IN WATER?A ANIWATER
an animal that only eats meat is a carnivore, an animal the only eats vegetation is a herbivore and an animal that eats both is called an omnivore :)
Animals which sleep during the day are nocturnal animals. These include hedgehogs, badgers, owls and many others.
During most of the Mesozoic, the era when non avian dinosaurs lived, grass didn't exist. It first evolved in the late Cretaceous. However, their have been dinosaur coprolites (dung fossils) that contain grass. But grass only lived near streambeds during the Mesozoic, and wasn't abundant enough for any dinosaur species to solely eat grass.
The Triceratops lived at the very end of the Cretaceous Period some 68 - 65.5 million years ago. To be more precise they lived in the Maastrictian Age the last stage in the Mesozoic Era. It only became extinct in the K-T extinction event that saw the death of all non-avian dinosaurs.
Antarctopelta were a species of medium-sized (4 m length) dinosaur found only on Antarctica.Synapsids were a branch of the reptile family that evolved into mammals. Both lived on Antarctica 70-100 million years ago, during the Mesozoic era, Permian period. The climate was moderate, land covered by forests, not ice.
Funny you asked. The reptiles dominated from the permian to cretaceous period. The answer is the mesozoic era. There are three geological eras: paleozoic, mesozoic and the Cenozoic. We are currently in the Holocene epoch of the quaternary period of the Cenozoic era.
There is only one Mesozoic era, or "Age of Reptiles," which began 252.2 million years ago and ended 65.5 million years ago. The Spinosaurus lived between 112 and 97 million years ago, during the Albian and then the Cenemonian stages of the Cretaceous period. The Cretaceous was the third and final period of the Mesozoic era.
yes the only time during the mesozoic in which they didn't exist was the earliest triassic, when they had not yet evolved. some people think that birds are dinosaurs, in which case dinosaurs would also be in the Cenozoic (the period immediately after the mesozoic, which is the one that occurs today).
The only animal (which is actually fish) is salmon they return home only once after life to lay and fertilize their eggs before dying.
Ankylosaurus lived between 66.5 and 65.5 million years ago, at the end of the Maastrichtian stage, the last stage of the Cretaceous period. The Cretaceous period was the third and final period of the Mesozoic era.

Centrioles are only found in animal cells. During reproduction, they create spindle fibers.
