Guinnea pigs dont eat wood, they gnaw on it. The best thing to do really is to go to your local pet shop and you can buys some flavoured wood things that they gnaw on. Its good for their teeth and helps blunt them down.
I would not put wood chips. Sure they have strong teeth that can bite the wood but I'm not sure that their stomachs can handle it. Not to mention the nutritional value of wood is almost non-existent. I would suggest potato chips instead. OR...how about rabbit feed genious? for what?like: bedding, to keep the teeth from growing
