Elephants, like most wild animals, spend most of their time hunting for food and water. They are very social, and live in groups of related females. The males live separately, and only seek out females when it is time to mate. Elephants are very intelligent, and like to play and enjoy themselves. They often spray water and splash around in a water hole, and they play with their babies. Elephants seem to have a concept of death, because when elephants find an elephant skeleton, they all gather around it and gently touch the bones. They make a circle around the bones, almost as if they are trying to protect them, and rumble deep in their throats.
