If sorghum were no longer a resource to the US then people would be forced to find other alternatives to use. The grass is grown in tropical places and us used to make bio-fuels and alcoholic beverages.
It would become extinct.
It's not clear why anyone would be that stupid, but PROBABLY nothing would happen as a result. Still, why risk it?
