You rush it to the vet!

EDIT: IS IT .5 OR 5!? because vets give dogs clonidine for anxiety. How much does the dog weigh can be a factor. .06 can be a fatal dose in a small dog.

Call the Vet for sure.

What can happen to a dog that eats a menstrual pad?

If by that you mean a dog got into the garbage and pulled out a pad to chew on, nothing will happen. Dogs are attracted to blood. It's a natural instinct. I'd be more concerned if any plastic or paper products were ingested.

No, it may make matter worse, vomiting is a normal reaction to something bad that was ingested, I would call the vet right now, what was your pet eating today? dog food? check expiration date on bag or look for bugs in the food or foreign objects, it does happen.
