It would be close ridge-backs are breed to keep LIONS at bay but pit bulls are breed to fight to the DEATH. Pit bull are more aggressive with better jaws and higher pain threshold but ridge-backs are stronger more agile and faster but pit bulls would normally win because they are breed to fight to death. But would be close

∙ 14y agoDo not try at home. This has been tried in the 20th century and no breed made the mark. It is a sad situation to see another breed to come acroos a pitbull. Another thing is that pitbulls almost never fight to the death. A fight to the death is allmost nonexisting since most times it finish when one is too exausted to proceed no more.

the ridgeback are very agile and weighs more on average they were used to keep lions at bay unless its a game pit then the ridgeback wins all day

I had a rhodesian ridgeback myself. i took care of him myself and im 13. they eat alot and require alot of exersice. he got along well with my pitbull. over all they are great dogs. minimal shedding, but they eat alot.
