Perhaps its in a sort of shock? If the fish in question is a new pet fish, I mean.
Normally when you buy a new fish, it comes in a plastic baggie. You're supposed to place the sealed baggy (with fish/water still inside) into its new fish tank. This makes the water in the baggy slowly change to the temperature of the water in the fish tank, and prevents the fish from undergoing the "shock" that accompanies dumping it into a different temperature environment.
yes since when their around enemies they pucker up so when their enemies kill them they pucker up and float
fish dont actually sleep; they have no eyelids. scientists dont know for sure but they think that they go into a state of rest. It can be hard to tell if a fish is sleeping; they might float motionless, float on bottom of tank or hide in tank decor.
Yes, fish can die from eating dead fish. Dead fish can harbor harmful bacteria, parasites, and toxins that can cause illness or death in other fish that ingest them. It is not recommended to allow fish to eat dead fish in a closed aquarium environment.
wait....whats a bunble??
Bony fish have a swim bladder that helps them regulate their buoyancy and control their depth in the water. By adjusting the amount of air in the swim bladder, bony fish can increase or decrease their buoyancy, allowing them to float or sink as needed.
they float belly upl... they float belly upl... float and, you don't really need to know because it will be easy to tell that it is dead.
No. Your fish has damaged its swim bladder.
NO FISH CAN EAT A WHALE! Unless the whale is already dead another fish can not eat it! If it is dead then it would float to the bottom, and bottom feeders would eat it.
Fish do not normally "float around" they swim. If your fish is floating/sinking then it is probably dead.
yes since when their around enemies they pucker up so when their enemies kill them they pucker up and float
it might have a dead fish in it
A fish is sick or something is wrong with the water.
It will usually stop moving, and sometimes just float at the service.
algae people dead fish
fish does float on water!
when the gills stop breathing or when you poke it and it stops moving and some fishes float to the bottom when they first die and then they''ll start to float up because they release gas . Main signs that your fish will be dead is if there is no movement and it is being carried along by the water current. Also check for any visible signs of disease. If you cannot tell a classic sign will be using a net to gently move towards or possible touch the fish and if there is no reaction your fish is likely to be dead, generally your fish wont float at the surface unless sufferin from diseases such as dropsy. If it is discovered that your fish isnt dead check for disease and odd behaviour. It is also possible that your fish is resting as throughout the day your fish will rest at the bottom of the tank.
it means that the bird is dead nothing can help that
