Chickens will lay eggs year round. Laying usually dies of in the winter and with the age of the chicken. The reason they lay less in the winter is do to the cold and shorter days (this is why commercial farms keep them in constant light). As for time of day every chicken is different.

Frogs practise external fertilisation. The frogs embrace with the male sitting on the female's back. Once in the water, the female starts to lay her eggs. As they come out the male sprays sperm over them to fertilise them. So the two events happen at the same time.

Most birds mate and lay eggs in summer and spring since their is warmer weather and more food. Pigeons and doves can breed at any point in the year, because they often feed their young pigeon milk, a milk-like fluid that is secreted by both parent's crop (food storage pouch). There are other birds which do not always breed in spring and summer because their habitat is so warm that it is possible to raise young all year round.

Frogs lay their frogspawn in water; in ponds and rivers, canals stuff like that. They also can lay them in grass but it will all dry up and die. If you have any neighbours that have frogs or tadpoles ask them for some.

Adults frogs can lay their eggs at any time, after either prolonged breeding (when males gather to find female mates) or explosive breeding (during rainfall males and females mate and spawn rapidly).
