At around a few months old. Do not separate them from their moms when it is weeks old. It still needs it's mother.
It is not recommended for the mother dog to nurse her other puppies after consuming a dead puppy. This can lead to health risks for the remaining puppies, such as infection or toxicity. It is best to consult a veterinarian for guidance in this situation.
Puppies are usually weaned and ready to be separated from their mother at around 8 weeks of age. It is important for the puppies' development that they stay with their mother and littermates until this age, as they learn important socialization skills during this time.
No, it is not recommended to give water to newborn puppies as their primary source of nutrition should be their mother's milk. Feeding water to newborn puppies could potentially cause water intoxication and impact their development. It's important to ensure that the mother dog is providing adequate care and nutrition to the puppies.
Newborn puppies do have a scent, but it is not typically a foul odor. The scent is usually a combination of the mother's milk and the puppies' natural pheromones. This scent helps the puppies bond with their mother and siblings.
Excercise caution depending on the breed of the father. Some animals will kill their young if they detect any signs of weakness from birth. However, if you keep the dog away from the puppies, it may become agitated to the point of attacking you or the mother, or anything nearby. In short; let the father with the puppies and the mother, yet be very vigilant and if the father begins showing signs of aggression, separate them immediately.
two months the puppies should not need there moms
Punishment. Mother dogs will bite their puppies noses when they do something they should not, as nipping to hard when playing with his/her mother, etc.
If the puppies are with the mother then you should keep them with her until 8 weeks of age. The mother will instinctively wean the puppies on her own, but you may need to help her by removing her from the puppies. The puppies can technically be taken away after 6 weeks, but the longer the puppies are with the mother the better because they will learn from their mother.
F*ck YES !!

That is unlikely to happen but if so you should try to get the puppies to their mama if you can not?... that would be VERY bad!

its not recomended. the mother will become worried and begin looking for her puppies everywhere. it wont be a break for her. and the puppies will be whinning constantly for milk. the puppies might also die without food. the mother and pups would probably be okay with an hour or two away from each other
