She is a great rabbit breeder but she lives in the UK. That's the kind of thing to look for though because you want to get one that has good genes! i have two french lops and we had to drive 500 miles to get them but it is well worth it if you are serious about getting a bunny!
Lop Ear Bunnies usually weigh about 5 pounds and shouldn't be any heavier.
Lop ear rabbits can be vocal, just like other rabbit breeds. They may make sounds such as grunts, purrs, or thumps to communicate with their owners or other rabbits. However, the level of vocalization can vary from rabbit to rabbit.
Lop ears in rabbits are a genetic trait where the ear cartilage is floppier than normal, causing the ears to hang down. This trait is passed down through generations and is commonly bred intentionally in certain rabbit breeds for their unique appearance.
Mini lop, Holland lop, American fuzzy lop, French lop, and the English lop. ( there are other kinds of lops like the lion lop the velvet lop and the micro lop but those lops are not recognized by the ARBA ) American rabbit breeders association's.
Signs of illness in a lop ear rabbit can include lack of appetite, changes in stool quality, lethargy, and unusual sitting or posturing. Lop ear rabbits can experience stomach aches, which may manifest as hunched posture, teeth grinding, or reduced activity. A French Lop Rabbit has the genetic ability to achieve weights of 20#'s or more. They are definitely larger than English Lops when they are mature.
Who in the world sold you a 4 week old bunny? That baby should still be with it's mother. It is too young to be weaned from mom's milk!!Absolutely no.... do not put that baby in with a 9 week old French Lop. It could be stomped to death while the French Lop is simply playing with it. What breed is your lop ear? You do know that lop ear is not a breed don't you???? Holland Lop, Fuzzy Lop, Mini Lop, English Lop? Every rabbit should have it's own cage, this is particularly true of lop breeds. There is nothing sadder to see than a lop eared rabbit with it's ear slashed in two by fighting. My suggestion is to make your 4 week old baby a small 'nest' in a card board box and get a kitten bottle and kitten replacer milk. Try to feed it milk along with it's pellets for at least another week and 2 weeks wouldn't hurt. Please don't buy a bunny that young again. They are more likely to die and/or catch diseases when they do not have their mother's milk to get antibodies from.
from where they were first created. some guy tried to get a bunny breed from mating a french lop rabbit and a dwarf rabbit and accidentally made a Holland lop.
