In one instance, the young lady got a tiger for her 4th birthday. The tiger was treated as a pet and had its own cage. TWELVE YEARS LATER, something went horribly wrong and the tiger killed her. But what a happy childhood and twelve wonderful years.

There are certain websites that you can buy exotic pets such as tigers, lions, monkeys and so on, but it is illegal in most states in the U.S but if you live in states such as North Carolina (which has almost no exotic animal laws) and so on its ok (some states require a perment ). Take into consideration though that if it may not be state law city's do have local laws of their own so if it is illegal to own one in your area might want to keep the pet out of sight. (if you own one already) Don't neglect it though if you cant take care of it relinquish it to a exotic animal shelter all states have them, and you wont get in trouble (most likely).

P.S large cats and animals are very expensive and need alot of care if they are in captivity. Its recommended you get them vaccinated (and other things a animal may need). They also require lots of food when they are full grown. So if you don't have the income don't buy one.
