Where can you get a turtle?

You can purchase a pet turtle at any local pet store. The supplies for the turtle can be bought in the store as well. Be sure to buy all the supplies before you buy the turtle. This will ensure that you have everything you need beforehand.

You can also find then in ponds just about anywhere there usually fully grown in that case though...also if your like me and have called every pet store around and they dont carry turtles, you can actully order a turtle at turtleshack.com. i know its weird ordering a turtle online but its pretty safe once you read all the terms and uses, (like me!).

Depending on your location, you shouldn't have any problem visiting your local pet store and finding what you are looking for. If you have no local pet store, you might try Wal-Mart. If you have no Wal-Mart or similar-type store, you may just have to rely on your own natural pet finding abilities. Turtles can often be found (again, all things considering your location) around most bodies of water. Lakes, ponds, creeks, streams, and rivers are all excellent places to look for any kind of turtle.
