That was a "dogue de bourdeaux". I hope I have the spelling correct. A lot of people thought it was a Bullmastiff but it was not. The pups shown at the end of the movie were actually bullmastiffs but Hooch was a dogue de bourdeaux, a French Mastiff. They have been recognized fairly recently by the American Kennel Club as a breed in the Unites States and now can be shown in the AKC shows.
He passed away in 1992, 3 years after the release of the movie Turner and Hooch. He was 14 years old.
A dog owner is commonly referred to as a "pet parent" or simply as a "dog owner."
The dog in "My Dog Skip" is a Jack Russell Terrier. This breed is known for being energetic, intelligent, and friendly, making them great companions. In the movie, Skip is portrayed as a loyal and courageous dog who forms a special bond with his owner.
Not really. A dog submissive to his owner normally does not bite his owner. An abused dog, a dog that sees himself as pack leader instead of follower, or a dog that has been pushed to the point that he attacks will bite.

Yes, a Dogue de Bordeaux, also known as a French Mastiff.
Very sadly, yes, Hooch does die. I was saddened too - what a beautiful film! However ... At the end, it shows Turner's new partner, the veternarian, with lots of puppies that look like her dog, Camille. "He's upstairs." She says in reply to Turner's question, then kisses him briefly before he goes upstairs. Turner repeats the rules as he walks to his bedroom - the rules he told dear Hooch. And then, as he opens his bedroom door, it reveals a mess everywhere. He walks towards the wardrobe, opens it and ... there's a mini Bordeaux de Dogue there, chewing a shoe - Hooch's PUPPY!
1- turner's life was become upside down when he is forced to team up with a messy dog.2- like to take criminal cases
Turner and Hooch
Madam Hooch's first name is given as "Rolanda" in the Trading Card Game. The Internet Movie Database website lists her first name as "Xiomara." Obviously they can't both be correct. Neither is considered canon until independently confirmed by JKR.
