There are many reasons why dogs may hide under beds. Illness could be one cause, when dogs aren't feeling well they want to be left alone in a safe place, it would be best to consult a veterinarian if hiding continues. Another cause may be security, dogs always need a place to go when they are tired or just need a place to get away like many humans do. It would be best to buy your dog a kennel or a dog bed if you find them under the bed constantly. Yelling, thunder and many other loud noises may scare a dog into a small safe hiding place such as under a bed. Many epileptic dogs cannot stand loud noises, or lighting during weather changes or when they aren't feeling well, being under a bed is where they can find darkness and silence to cure they're sickness temporarily.
