cell wall is fully permeable and can allow anything to pass

through it .

cell membrane memebrane does not allow the entry and exit of any type of substance through it.

plant cells have a cell wall to protect their bodies from wear and tear and extreme weather conditions and variations.

animal cells don't require a cell wall because they can move here and there for their protection or remain in a shelter during weather variations, whereas plants cannot do so, they remain at one place only.

also if animal cell had a cell wall, it would be difficult to sweat and take out toxins.

skin cells would not receive desired oxygen, so they may die.
