Depending on their habitat, habitat loss is one of the leading factors involved in many lizard populations decline. Poaching those that are already protected to sell on the black market for the pet trade, also trapping or hunting for food, in some areas their meat is considered a delicacy and their skin is highly prized. Also, pollution is a major factor to many lizards, they are very sensitive to toxins in their environment, and even small amounts of chemicals can have lasting affects for many species. The primary cause for population decline is the loss of habitat by agricultural and urban conversation. Also because of overharvesting for pet trade. This and all the other answers that you give and show me is not what I need or want.
