They never stop growing. If there's an abundance of food, they will keep growing. The growth does reach a bit of a plateau when they reach adulthood, but not a real plateau like that of an adult mammal reaches. In other words, the growth rate of a crocodile decreases when it becomes an adult, but it doesn't stop entirely: there's still a smaller growth rate that exists when they are adults, but its small enough that it is not easily noticed by us humans.
