Actually it is really hard to find Penguins because they require a very particular tempature. so they can die easily. some other reasons are... they are birds that cannot fly they live in artic areas, most birds have to fly South for Winter. they LOVE water and spend alot of time in the water without breathing. -Maria Lenway

yes the ice is melting and the penguins need the ice to live without ice it's hard for the penguins because they can't swim forever! The polar bears face the same problem. We should all try to conserve energy to protect the penguins and the earth.
